The American College of Physicians defines Internists as physicians who focus on adult medicine and have completed special training to prevent, diagnose and treat adult diseases.

The Primary Care Providers at Tohickon Internal Medicine provide comprehensive medical care for patients aged 15 years to end of life. We emphasize prevention, education of the patients for wellness in addition to management of common simple illnesses and including complex
patients with multiple chronic illnesses occurring at the same time. Common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system, heart system and reproductive organs are treated in clinic as well as women’s health, substance abuse, mental health/illness.

Our primary care providers are team leaders who provide continuous and coordinated care throughout a patient’s life including discussion of end of life issues. We attempt to have you see your primary care provider at each visit.
