We Love our Nurse Practitioners.
You will too! What exactly is a nurse practitioner? Nurse practitioners (NPs) are experienced nurses with 8 years of medical education and training behind them. They practice as primary care providers with advanced degrees, state licenses and board certification that allow them to diagnose disease, prescribe all medications and tests, and create complete treatment plans for their patients. Their education and scope provides a similar breadth of knowledge of conditions typically managed by a primary care physician, but does not provide the same depth of expertise with rarer, more complex diseases in comparison with an MD. For this reason, in the state of Pennsylvania, nurse practitioners must collaborate with physicians. Every day our regular office schedule includes a physician on-site for consultation and oversight of patient care when needed. OUR NPs ARE PHYSICIAN-SUPPORTED AND FULLY PREPARED TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE, COMPASSIONATE PRIMARY CARE. NURSE PRACTITIONER NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE WEEKLY. 1456 Ferry Road Suite 400
