Our Services
Tohickon Internal Medicine offers the following in-office services:
All of our practitioners are active in the care of seniors and the elderly. Nurse Practitioners Pam Barnes and Melissa Taylor are board certified in gerontology, a specialty that focuses on issues and health concerns of the elderly.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under the law, patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance have the right to an estimate of the cost for their medical items and services. This Good Faith Estimate includes the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services, including medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, etc. Upon scheduling, you can ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate to be provided to you in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service. You can also request a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you are entitled to dispute the bill. Make sure to retain a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
Please inform the receptionist if you require a Good Faith Estimate for your services.
